New saint , where do I start?

Im a new believe in Christ so where should I start? What do I do?

1) buy a holy bible (this is your manual)
2) start by reading Acts (the entire book from start to finish)
3) find and become a member of a good bible based church


4) the most important step which should be step 1.
Begin your prayer life. Start praying to God as much as possible. Wake up and pray.Go to sleep and pray. In the middle of the day pray. Pray in your car.
Start by thanking God for all of the good things in your life.
Your family , your home, your income, your environment, your car, your electricity,your water, your boyfriend , girlfriend or husband. Be thankful that you are alive- really feel the gratitude of how blessed you are even if everything in your life isn’t perfect.


This is where you start.

Authority

When I began my journey of walking in Christ I believed that Christians were supposed to act meek, be timid, not use their voice. Always have a calm and mousy spirit. That may be the reality for some but the closer I get to God I realize we were made in his image. God is not meek or timid. He is victorious because he has authority over ALL things.
